Well, if you’ve met me, you already know - im an open book. I’ve got sass but life is too short to be boring. I love animals, I adore my kids, and there is nothing like complaining about a WOD and then doing it anyway

WHAT GOT YOU INTO CROSSFIT?

the videos of attractive shirtless men….and then when I started doing it, realizing that feeling strong and capable is the best feeling out there

WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT ALCHEMY?

it’s a safe space. Everyone can be whomever they want. If you’re just there to move, if you want to be a beast and lift heavy or bust out your cardio - no one will judge you or tell you you are doing it wrong! The coaches and the community make it the place you want to be at every day

WHAT HAS BEEN MY PROUDEST MOMENT?

introducing colour into my life. All my clothes were black and then I tried some pink. Realizing how strong and capable and bad ass I feel during workouts has made me very proud - along with seeing my daughter want to copy me and be strong like me

WHAT ARE YOUR CROSSFIT GOALS FOR THE FUTURE?

a pull up 100%. And beating coach Andrew in a workout. 

IF YOU COULD DESIGN THE PERFECT WORKOUT, WHAT WOULD IT INCLUDE?

Rowing, DB Snatches and the Backstreet Boys 

WHAT'S THE BIGGEST CHANGE YOU'VE SEEN IN YOURSELF SINCE I STARTED CROSSFIT?

seeing my strength grow. I started and thought “well, that won’t be me” but every lift I do I see the numbers go up and continue to prove to myself how strong I can be if I just keep showing up

WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT THE GYM, WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO?

finding every animal anywhere, making it my friend and petting it 

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD SPOT?

anywhere as long as they make a good margarita
